PostSubject: Case Analysis Common Issues   Sun Mar 06, 2016 10:47 pm

Case analysis answer has three ‘core’ elements:

1. calculations (earning application marks),
2. analysis (earning judgement marks) and
3. recommendations (earning logic marks).

These three criteria combined account major part of the marks available and are therefore essential if you’re to pass this paper.

Too often students spend too much time in the exam working on their the peripheral areas of their report.
-They make sure they’ve got an impressive introduction
They spend time drawing out lots of appendices detailing technical models

The problem is they leave insufficient time to grow a solid ‘root’
-They rush their calculations,
-Fail to analyse an issue in sufficient depth and
-Then ultimately are unable to provide a solid justification to their recommendations.
